Grab a mug of something warm, turn on some music and
hang out in the café, peruse the market for some awesome hand picked items and take a look in the goods section for a growing variety of hand made goods!
Someday we might be hanging out in a brick and mortar café listening to great music, having coffee, deciding on what
wonderful things to take home while having
awesome conversations about everything!
Until then please enjoy your time here . . .
American Spoon has been a favorite of mine for a long time! I wish I could say I discovered their goodness when I was growing up in Michigan but it was after graduating from college in the east and on a trip back home that I first spotted them at Zingerman's in
Ann Arbor. Their story is best summed up in their own words: "On a summer day in 1982, we filled a copper kettle with Early Glow Strawberries, set it on a stove, and began a fruit preserving business. Today, more than 30 years later, we cook in the same small batches using the same copper kettles, buy fruit from the same family farms, and fill every jar with the intense flavors of exceptional fruits for classic preserves with enduring appeal." Some day I am headed back to check out their store in Petoskey, MI and the beautiful
Lake Michigan coast! Until then I offer a small selection from their wonderful offerings to those in my area!
If you are outside of a picking up range please check out their website and order directly from American Spoon at: www.spoon.com
Currently I am very into knitting and wearing these cowls . . . the yarn is soft and the colors so much fun to work with.
I hope to have one in every color some day but until then I am making them for you! There is a very limited supply - like one of each color.
So send me an email and I will be happy to ship them out. Flat rate shipping for these is $5. in the continental USA.
